Sanlúcar Shawl Pattern

About the design: Sanlúcar Shawl is born right after our first Ronda Shawl, malabrigo Mechita was love at first sight so I wanted to design a one skein shawl with it. The lace pattern repeats through the shawl and takes a bit of minding the knitting, but is easy enough to keep you entertained. It’s a fast knit, instant gratification! The result is a unique garment to keep your neck warm during the mild southern winter, or a transition piece in colder climates. It is also a great looking shawl to cover up your shoulders.

Materials

Yardage: Approximately 100g (3.53oz) fingering weight yarn (420y/385m).

Yarn: malabrigo Mechita, .

Needles: US6 (4.0mm) circular needles, with a 40inch (100cm) cable, or size needed to obtain gauge.

Gauge 25 sts y 35 rnds = 10 x 10 cm (4×4″)

Finished size: Approx 205 cm x 40 cm (80×16″) after blocking
