About the design: When I started designing this garment, I started off a single idea/image: pink. It’s hard to identify what inspires us in each garment, I had no doubt this time.

Escaramujo is the name of a wild Rose that grows in the Aracena Mountains and the Aroche Peaks, the place by which all the 2016 Winter collection is inspired.

The shawl is knit in one piece, even the edges are knit at the same time.

Materials:

Yardage: 850m / 900y in fingering weight yarn

Yarn: Devanalana Soft Donegal Fingering, (shown in color Ahearne): 4x50g skeins plus 1x25g skein or malabrigo Mechita: 3 x100g skeins

Needles: 4.5mm/US7, circular needles in 80 cm/29” cables

Notions: Stitch Markers, darning needle

Finished size (after blocking): 166 cm long x 35 cm wide (65.3” long x 13.7” wide)
