Almonaster Sweater Pattern

About the design: This sweater takes its name from a small pretty town in the Aracena Mountains and the Aroche Peaks (North of Huelva), called Almonaster. There’s magic about this town, and it has a lot to do with its gorgeous mosque on top of a mountain, from which awesome views of these mountains can be enjoyed: a skyline of overlapping lines, inspiring this design. Raglan sweater, knit top-down from the neck in one piece. Short rows are worked to shape the shoulders and chest.

Yarn: Devanalana Soft Donegal Fingering, 50g (190m/ 205y): 4 (4, 5, 6, 7, 7) skeins in Main Color and 1 (1’5, 2, 2, 2) skeins in Contrasting Color.

Needles: Circular needles: 3.5 and 4mm (US4 and 6), 60 and 80 cm, or 24” and 29”, cables
